July 9, 2004

Well, it was bound to happen one of these days. At last a new web site. The goal is to keep this news page somewhat updated from now on, too, so long as there is news to report. The rest of the site will mostly be static until there are new songs or until there is more content to add to the about section. But I will do my best.

I hope your summer is going well!

We've received word that Sara Johnston is also at work on a new album: "Sara Jonhston is in the studio as we speak recording her own album. It should come out within the next 3-4 months."

E.P. Bergen has announced on his web site that Bran Van 3000 is at work on their third album: "No release dates to be announced yet, but it won't be that long. Some tracks might be pre released. James Di Salvio and EP Bergen went back to the roots and are approaching it in a similar mental state they made Glee in."

Summer 2003

There are several important things to tell you. In no particular order, they are: 1. Bran Van 3000 is not currently on a record label; this is less of a problem than one might think, and many things are still happening. 2. There is a new video. It is for “Go Shoppin’ / More Shopping”, but the link to watch it online doesn’t work anymore. We’ll try to find a new one. 3. Bran Van 3000 is collaborating with Jean Leloup on a song entitled “Take a Break George”. (The George referred to in the title is the current world leader with aspirations of invasion.) When the song is finished, you will be able to download it from this site for free. 4. Tiga, who you may remember from the Mount Real Mixes 12", is apparently working on a remix of “Go Shoppin’ / More Shopping”. Once it’s finished, it will probably appear here, too. 5. We have just switched over to a new server; a new message board is now online, and there are other changes to come. As always, there’s so very much to discuss...
